Issued with the Schmidt-Rubin Models 1889, 1889/96, 1896/11, 1897 Kadet Rifle, 1900 Short Rifle, 1911 Carbine

Produced in two versions (muzzle ring diameter for the barrel); once for the long rifle barrels with approx. 15mm and once for the carbine barrels with approx. 14mm.

The Model 1889/1892 were converted from older 1863 and 1871 bayonets.
The conversion was accomplished by removing the socket, adding a crosspiece, and welding a locking piece to the end of the bayonet.

Bayonet Serial Number 123040 was originally matched to a K11 Carbine

This has the 14mm Muzzle Ring Diameter - Suiable for any of the Short Rifles & Carbines Including the 1897 Cadet Rifle
