BSA War Office Pattern 1907 Military training rifle.
All correctly marked with full Birmingham address, patent number and original
The rear 'ladder' graduated from 25 to 200 yards and micro windage adjustable
and original shroud.
Brass butt plate with hinged trap for oil bottle. Nicely figured walnut
stock in good condition too.
Matching numbers on the Bolt Action & Barrel. The
bolt is the August 1907 patented type with hooded single extractor.
Made by The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd. Birmingham.
Rifle with a Crown then W. O. Patt. R1475418.
Serial number is then to L/H at rear of barrel and the front of the action
(in Iine). The bolt is stamped Pat.14373/07.
The front sight has the pivoting, turn down sight protector and the adjustable
rear sight is graduated with 25 | 50 | 100 | 150 | 200
also features windage adjustment with original site protector.
