Persian Mauser Model 98/29. A very fine and rare Mauser made for the Persian army by BRNO between 1931 and 1938 as part of an
unfulfilled order of 180,000 rifles.

These Czechoslovakian made 98’s are considered to be the best made Mausers of the period.

Persian Royal Crest of the Persian lion and Sun under the Pahlavi crown
to the receiver ring and Farsi model inscription to the L/H action side, Arabic numbering to the ring and rearsight.

Matching original numbers and in really nice condition with a good bore.

Very few Persian Mausers come up for sale and to find one in this condition is Unusual

The slight staining on the receiver ring where it meets the hand guard & fore-end is just dried oil
