British 1st Pattern Bayonet With Hooked Quillon By Wilkinson

This is an early Pattern 1907 bayonet with a hooked quillon. The blade is marked with a crown over E.R (Edward Rex) 1907 and 02’09 denoting its manufacture
in February 1909. Marked WILKINSON, the maker. There are numerous inspection stamps on both sides of the blade together with a broad arrow.

Marked RWK for the The Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

Previously titled the 6th Regiment of Foot, which was a line infantry regiment of the British Army in continuous existence for 283 years. The regiment saw service in many conflicts and wars, including the Second Boer War and both the First and Second World Wars.

The front of the bayonet has been cleaned up a little in the past, but not showing that well in the images
