Muscat Martini in .303. Manufactured in Liege & in Birmingham for the Sultan of Muscats Camel Corps

This example has Liege proof marks

The action has ornate engraving and the top of the barrel is machined to break up any reflection. The right of the action has the standard
type cocking indicator & the top of the action has the thumb recess
The walnut stock & forend is checkered and the the butt plate is cross hatched & also has a butt trap.
The butt is also fitted with a silver escutcheon

The rear sight is graduated to 300yds on the ramp & 1000yds on the leaf. The bore is very good.

The butt still has the original 2 piece cleaning rod inside

I have had 4 of these over the last 10 years & each one has had a fairly nheavy trigger pull.

Not much is known about the Muscat Martinis Except they were reputedly made for the
Sultan of Muscat`s Camel Corps

This would make a nice research project

This is an Unusual Martini Rifle / Carbine Circa 1900 In Good Condition
