Just Come In From A Collector Who Is Thinning Out His Collection

£TBA

303 Lee Enfield No4Mk1T Sniper Rifle, Savage 1942

Small Arms Chest, Scope Tin, Original 1907 Leather Sling

Rifle No: 0C4675 - Scope No32 Mk3 Serial No 20139

Being an early NoT these would have been converted at Enfield. A few Savage rifles I have had, have been the Less Scope Examples.

I think this was one of those Less Scope examples that has had a scope fitted later in service, also been through post war FTR and refinished with Suncorite

The front pad was loose so took the opportunity to take pictures of the machining before I sweated it back on.

The leather sling is missing one keeper and getting a bit fragile.

Bore is OK and gauges fine

I have taken lots of pictures showing the relevant details & markings which a collector would be looking for.

If you need to see any more just let me know
