To this day a rare and valuable find, the "Queen's Cup" rifle was proudly presented as being capable of winning that coveted Queens Prize prize; as had been done by Lieutenant Colonel A.G. Banks
AG Banks was an experienced and respected Service Rifle shot, author of several important books on rifle shooting and, and army officer.

These rifles are based on the MkII Martini Henry action and date from around 1900.
The barrel mounted rear sight is a modified military rear sight fitted with the BSA patented elevator which adjustable for windage.
The rear target sight is a Greener's Patent Orthoptic sight.

This rifle has matching numbers as expected and a Excellent Bore.
