Both the rifle & scope are dated 1945.
This rifle is in very good condition with a good bore and has been tested & zeroed at 500M with PPU .303 174grn Ammuniution.
The rifle is manufactured by BSA & the scope is manufactured by A.Kershaw & Sons Ltd. and is marked with a W- Denoting Water Proofed, the leather lense protectors are broad arrow marked and genuine.
The scope bracket is stamped "JD" denoting manufacture was by Rose brothers.
The action, barrel and fore-end etc all have matching serial numbers, and when the butt is removed there is a matching serial number on the butt which is only visible when the butt is removed, see images below.
The action has all the correct markings denoting its conversion to Telescope Rifle "No4T".
Its nice to see that the butt is fitted with the wider sling swivel which made fitting and removing the leather pattern sling much easier and is a correct upgrade post WW2, also the sling swivel fitted forward of the magazine is a genuine Enfield marked one and not a Parker Hale version.
This is a genuine honest No4T Fitted with the desirable No32 MkIII Scope.
