Standard Pattern 1907 Bayonet by Ishapore Dated March 1941

A nice WW2, example of the Pattern 1907 British bayonet for the SMLE rifle

The ricasso of the bayonet is stamped by the manufacturer; RFI along with the Kings Crown GR for King George Regina, 1907 Pattern detail
and dated ' 3 41 (March 1941).

The reverse is stamped with inspection marks. The blade is in nice clean condition and it's wood grips are undamaged. . It is complete with it's WW2 steel mounted leather Scabbard. All stitching and Leather of the scabbard are intact.

A really nice Pattern 1907 Bayonet made in India at Ishapore during WW2.
The Rifle Factory at Ishapore was still controlled by the British Military System and all rifles & bayonets were manufactured
to the same exacting standards as those in England. India at the time was still part of the British Empire.
